Bobcat celebrates the arrival of its new mini-excavators with the Premiere Launch Edition

Presented last April at the Bauma trade fair, the E16, E17z, E19 and E20z models have just entered production. To mark this event, Bobcat is marketing a limited edition of the two largest machines in the R2 range.

    Only 50 units

Bobcat’s special series, called the Premiere Launch Edition, concerns exclusively the E19 and E20z mini-excavators. It offers 25 units of each model. These feature several characteristics that set them apart from standard machines. They first benefit from a special design with an exclusive anthracite grey color. To maximize safety, reliability and availability, four specific kits have been integrated (direct return to the tank, cab protection, travel motor hose protection and bucket cylinder cover).

The cab of the models belonging to the Premiere Launch Edition has also been significantly improved. It features aluminum pedals, a numbered plate, and leather and fabric seat covers. Thanks to their high-end design, these covers resemble those usually found in luxury cars.

    More modern and efficient

As a worthy successor to the M series, the R2 series is intended for the EMEA region markets (Europe, Middle East and Africa). More modern, its models integrate numerous innovative technologies. Among the most significant is the load-sensing SmartFlow hydraulic circuit, which maximizes performance. The new generation mini-excavators are finally more efficient. They constantly adjust flows and engine speeds according to the task to be carried out, thereby reducing fuel consumption (up to 18% less) and noise levels (-4 dBA).
