Hyundai Construction Equipment celebrates 30 years in Europe
For 30 years, Hyundai Construction Equipment has been strengthening its presence in the European market. This anniversary marks three decades of innovation, growth, and commitment to its customers and partners.
Three decades of expansion and innovation
This year, Hyundai Construction Equipment celebrates 30 years of activity in Europe, a milestone for a brand that entered the market in 1995 with its first facility in Geel, Belgium. Since then, the company has continuously reinforced its presence, notably by establishing its European headquarters in Tessenderlo-Ham, an energy-neutral site inaugurated in 2017. This strategic location, equipped with a training academy, a large parts warehouse, and a demonstration area, helps deliver a premium experience to customers and dealers. Hyundai’s history in Europe reflects steady growth, also marked by the development of its logistics and customization center (EUCUP), which moved to Zwijndrecht in 2009 and again in 2019 to entirely new premises near the port of Antwerp in Vrasene.
Strong ambitions for the years ahead
To mark this anniversary, the manufacturer highlights the continuous expansion of its product range. The company has recently launched a dozer, a material-handling excavator, a compact wheel loader, and compact track loaders, thereby completing its existing excavator and loader ranges. It is also introducing a new generation of crawler machines, focused on technology, productivity, and user comfort.
Hyundai reaffirms its ambition to become one of the top five construction equipment manufacturers in Europe. This momentum is supported by a strong network of partner dealers, a loyal customer community, and dedicated support for national accounts. As highlighted by Maurizio Chiarotti, Sales Director Europe, the brand relies on a solid foundation enriched by innovative, environmentally friendly solutions and high-level aftermarket support.
