Potain MCT 105 H5, new tower crane model
Freshly rolled out of Manitowoc’s Indian factory in Pune, the Potain MCT 105 H5 tower crane features a jib of 20 to 40 meters and a lifting capacity of up to 5 tons. Its installation in just four containers and its common components with the MCT 85 are among its main advantages.
Moving loads over longer distances
The topless MCT 105 H5 offers a jib length of 20 to 40 m. While it has a maximum capacity similar to the MCT 85 F5 (5 tons), it can move loads over longer distances. In its optimal configuration, the crane lifts 5 tons up to 19.8 m, and with a full jib, the same weight is moved to 14.7 m. At the end of 60 meters, it can even safely support a load of one ton.
This model also has the particular feature of being installed on mast sections 1.2 m wide. This design allows for a maximum freestanding height of 38.6 m. When the Potain MCT 105 H5 is used as a climbing crane, this value still reaches 37.7 m.

More and more professionals are looking for powerful, compact, and economical machines. To reduce transport costs, the crane fits into four containers and ensures quick installation. Finally, many of the components of the MCT 105 are identical to those of the MCT 85, starting with the 4 D3V3 trolley and the winch (maximum rope capacity of 500 m).
