Manitowoc is turning 90 during Intermat 2018

Manitowoc Cranes will be at the 2018 Intermat exhibition, the international meeting place for the construction industry (from April 23rd to 28th in Paris-Villepinte). They will be there to showcase their services to clients as well as some crane models. The company will also turn 90 years old.

Introduction of the client service offer

Manitowoc has been aware, for several years, of the importance of client service. The company has developped services, called Manitowoc Crane Care. It integrates warranties, different services (after-sale, spare parts, helpline and technical assistance) as well as training modules.

The company also brings financing solutions to buy cranes on the new crane market (through Manitowoc Finance) as well as used ones. The EnCORE service will help clients buy used cranes that have been checked and are certified by Manitowoc.

    Crane models exhibition

Visitors that will go to the company's booth are also going to be able to look at different crane models developped by the company based on the Potain technology. They will be able to see the latest automated assembly crane models from the Hup range, that is the 32-27 and the Hup 40-30. These cranes have to meet the needs of urban construction sites and be able to work in confined spaces.

Visitors will have access to the tallest topless crane, called the MDT 389. This crane is equipped with the Crane Control System CCS command system, offering the operator a high level of comfort. It helps set up the crane on the construction site as well as during the different maintenance operations.
