New demolition excavators by Kobelco on the European market
Kobelco launches two new models of demolition excavators : the SK400DLC-10 and the SK550DLC-10. Their advantages ? Low fuel consumption, high and efficient performances. These new generation excavators are equipped with the NEXT system, long awaited in Europe.
Excavators made for demolition and fondation work
These demolition excavators should stand out with their versatility and their efficiency for long reach work. They can demolish on several storeys, with a height up to 24,7 m for the SK400DLC-10, and 27,5 m for the SK550DLC-10.
The comfort and safety are reinforced for altitude demolitions thanks to a 30° tilting cab, which guarantees a better posture for the operator. The safety level of the excavators are reinforced by a prevention system, that starts an alarm in the cab during risky manoeuvres. Kobelco tries to ensure a good lifespan to all their demolition equipments. They were designed to assembly and disassembly easily and have easy maintenance.
The NEXT system in Europe
The NEXT system was first introduced at the 2016 BAUMA. It was a huge success among dealerships and other companies specializing on demolition.
It has two major advantages :
- It helps demolition excavators to adjust to the different construction sites they work on : altitude demolition, fondation work...
- The excavator transport is made easier. They can easily be installed on a trailer thanks to their fixings and with the possibility to reduce the track's width if needed.
