    Liebherr will introduce their new PR 726 bulldozer at the NordBau 2015 exhibition

    The new PR 726 bulldozer from Liebherr will be introduced to the public during the NordBau exhibition in Neumüster, it will be on the market in 2016.

    Liebherr, with 50 years of experience in the development of bulldozers, has optimised their new PR 726 bulldozer in order to offer better performances, operating costs at the lowest level as well as a large range of equipments.

     A powerful engine and efficient tools

    The weight of the PR 726 while operating varies between 16 000 kg and 19 800 kg. The diesel engine of 4 cylindres develops 120 kW/ 163 hp, and meets the requirements of the Tier 4f emissions. The combustion process of the engine has been optimised for particles to be at a minimum. Liebherr created an injection system with electronic management that allows the engine to adapt to the changing use conditions. The exhaust gas after treatment system has been simplified and optimised thanks to the selective catalytic reduction. Thus, it is possible not to have a diesel particle filter and reduce the maintenance costs.

    A electronic command with ECO function is included in the bulldozer. The operator can choose between a high power and a maximum efficiency. With the machine's parametres, the operator can choose the engine power that will automatically increase thanks to a adaptated tool. The machine's reaction times are faster as well as the pulling force. The engine rpm stays the same with the hydrostatic driving force and thus reduces the fuel consumption.

    A complete pallet of equipments

    The PR 726 bulldozer Liebherr has a large range of equipments, from the universal blade to the shield. A semi U blade offers a width of 3 metres, with a chain width of 610 mm is available. At the back of the machine there is a 3-teeth and 5-teeth ripper, an hydraulic winch, a counterweight and a  coupling hook.

    A special version of the PR 726 bulldozer also exists for rubbish tips. This one has a pressurized cab, special impermeabilities in the cab and engine zones, protection and coating devies, reversible fans, or special blades.

    Depending on the use of the machine, the time between the hydraulic oil change can go up to 8 000 working hours. The times between the engine maintenance have been doubled compared to the previous models. The maintenance intervals reduce the operating costs linked to the machine.

    The LiDAT system

    Liebher came up with a data transmission and localisation systen that transfer all the information regarding the localisation and the use of the machine.  For instance, it is possible to precisely know where the machine is, their use, fuel consumption and the time between maintenance.

    With this system, it is possible to always know the location of the machine. The data given by the system can be found with a GPRS or a data support.
