Caterpillar launches its new F2 backhoe loader range
In March 2015 Caterpillar launches, in Europe, its new F2 backhoe loader range, with the 427F2, 428F2, 432F2, 434F2 and 444F2 models. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the backhoe loader production, this new range offers a redesigned cab and engines meeting the 3B stage of the Tier norm.

A modern and pratical working environment
Compared to the previous models, the cabs of these new backhoe loaders offer a better view for the operator when he's at his maximum height. He can now work in a modern and pratical environment with less noise and ergonomic commands. Additionally, the seat is heated. Moreover, so that the operator keeps in touch with the site's workers, Caterpillar incorporated a Bluetooth radio.
10% savings on fuel
The new 428F2, 432F2, 434F2 and 444F2 backhoe loaders are equipped with a Cat C4.4 Acert diesel engine ranging from 70 to 80 kW, with the SCR technology (Selective catalytic reduction), for exhaust gas to react with the exhaust diesel liquid (DEF, Diesel Exhaust Fluid, a mix of urea and water). They now meet the requirements for the Tier Stage 3B norm, and use 10% less fuel. The Eco mode helps use even less fuel for less demanding work. The 427F2 model is equipped with a Cat C3.4B engine of 55 kW, with a diesel particle filter, meeting the requirements of the Tier Stage 3B norm.
In order to improve their performances, Caterpillar offers a more important hydraulic oil flow than on the 428F2 and 434F2 models.
