Wirtgen will introduce their new W 100 CFi small milling machine at Intermat
During Intermat, the International Exhibition for Equipments and Techniques, in Paris from April 20 to 25, 2015, Wirtgen GmbH will unveil their latest compact milling machines : the W 100 CFi. A machine with a working width of one meter and a working depth varying from 0 to 330 mm, will complete the range of new generation small milling machines. This range already has the W 50 Ri, W 60 Ri, W 120 CFi and W 130 CFi machines, with working width of 50 cm, 60 cm, 1,20 m and 1,30 m.

Optimum view with innovative equipments
This new cold milling machine is equipped with a 350 hp engine meeting the EU Stage 4 / US Tier 4 Final requirements and has a lot of appreciable innovations. The chassis is narrower and offers a better front view. In addition, the operator's platform can hydraulically move 200 mm beyond the edge, offering a perfect view of the milling drum and of the front right-hand crawler track. The left-hand milled edge and material discharge are always visible thanks to the cameras.
A more precise milling
As for the W 50 Ri and W 60 Ri models, several automatic features can increase the working speed and ease the operator. The milling precision is indicated by Level Pro Plus, the new control system developed by Wirtgen.
Displayed on a high-resolution screen, the predefined milling depth is controlled with precision via strong position sensors. For the first time, 4 « favorite » buttons, can be programmed with 15 available functions, have been integrated in the multi-functional armrest.
15 % more milling output
Three optionally selectable milling drum speeds ensure optimum milling output, at speeds of up to 7.5 km/h. A swivel mechanism allows the rear right-hand crawler track to be swiveled inwards quickly without lowering the milling drum. Compared with the preceding model, the W 100 CFi achieves a 15% higher milling output.
Greater efficiency when driving
The manoeuvrability of the machine has been increased thanks to the increased steering angle of the front axle. Even on difficult job sites, such as roundabouts or junctions, material can be loaded without difficulty thanks to the extremely large conveyor slewing angle of 60° to the left or right. For more precise loading, the machine operator can slew the conveyor at two different speeds.
Deliveries will start in March 2015.
