Caterpillar graders : ecological and economical
The new models reduces the fuel consumption by 10% in average thanks to a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, combined with the use of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). Besides, the fuel consumption can be optimised by using the ECO mode. This mode changes the engine rating and reduces the fuel consumption by 10%.
Caterpillar comfort and efficiency
The new models of the Caterpillar M3 series are edsigned to increase the operator's efficiency on contruction sites. The models are equipped with the Product Link system that manage a fleet, checks where the machine is, controls the operating hours as well as the fuel consumption and the productivity, through Vision Link.
The graders control system has two electronic joysticks used to lower the arm movements by 78%, in order to reduce the operator's fatigue. There also is a screen that displays the levelling controls on the center console for maximum visibility.
