The screed pump, also known as a construction site pump, stationary pump or trailer pump, is used on construction sites to transport and pour a liquid concrete screed in a building. The screed, approximately 5 cm thick, covers the electrical wires and plumbing elements, before laying the final coating on the floor.
The pump on a trailer can be powered by a mixer truck or by its loader into which the elements which will constitute the screed are poured: water, cement, sand, etc. which are then mixed and then propelled in a pipe towards the surface to be covered. The construction pump can deliver concrete up to several tens of meters away. The flow is measured in m3 / h and can be regulated by the operator.
