Terex introduces their new crawler crane, the LC 300
At the end of October 2016, Terex announced the launch of their new crawler crane, the LC 300. With an important lifting capacity, it is the bigger one in its category.
The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 300 tonnes. It is adapted to construction sites such as bridges, petrochemical, power plant and wind turbine industries.

A crane with innovative conception
Guntram Jakobs, the product marketing manager at Terex Cranes, about the new crane : « With an efficient main boom, and different extensions, the LC 300 crawler crane will help clients in their projects and have an important lifting capacity».
The machine can be equipped with with a main boom of 84 metres or a boom of 60 metres. A 72m luffing jib for a total maximum system length of 132metres can be added.
The Terex crane also has a big cab for two operators. Moreover, it is equipped with two screens for an intuitive driving. The first one is made for the engine, winch and crane configuration and the second one is for the load moment indicator IC-1.
Easy transport and setup
The LC 300 crane's transport is easy thanks to several elements made by Terex. Indeed, the slidding system optimises the use of the useful load during transport. It can easily be transported on a flatbed truck. The smaller booms sections were designed to embed itself perfectly when being moved. Besides, the anti fall system by Terex guarantees the safety during the setup and takedown of the boom. Finally, this crane will be manufactured in Jinan, China.
