The new Liebherr R920 Compact track excavator
The Liebherr R920 track excavator displayed for the first time at the 2016 Bauma is finally available on the market. This latest model has been designed to work in urban spaces. It adapts to lots of different applications thanks to a large range of equipment.
An ideal conception for small spaces
The operating weight of the R920 track excavator is approximately 19 tonnes. The engine delivers an output of 136 hp (100 kW) and meets the requirements of the IV stage norms. The R920 Compact excavator has a short back radius of 1,85m to easily move in tight spaces.
The R920 excavator : a comfortable cab and optimised safety
The make explains that the cab of their latest Compact excavator is certified ROPS. This certification insures that the machine can protect the driver in case of rollover. Moreover, an emergency exit by the back window is available.
Regarding the operator's comfort, Liebherr has created a spacious and air-conditioned working space. Besides, a high resolution 7'' tactile screen is installed in the cab. Thus, the operator gets all the information he needs. Finally, an additional storage case is availalbe in the cab.

The excavator's maintenance is easy due to several elements such as the oil tank accessible from the ground. Finally, the lubrication of the R920 Compact excavator is automated which increases the longevity of its components and reduces the maintenance time.
