The new Caterpillar 323 F excavator, strong and effcient

In september 2016, Caterpillar launched the production of their new hydraulic excavator, the 323 F. This excavator has been specially designed to work in rough spaces. It weighs between 21.9 and 23.6 tonnes depending on the chosen configuration and can dig up to 6.7 meters deep.

A strong Cat excavator for rough terrains

This new hydraulic Cat excavator from the F series is equipped with reinforced structures as well as an impressive counterweight. The arm and boom of the machine are made in high resistance steel for the excavator to be more resistant.

Energy savings with an efficient engine

With the CAT C4.4 Acert engine meeting the requirements of the Stage IV norms, the excavator saves up to 4% of fuel. Moreover, the diesel particle filter without maintenance or the speed control system are important elements to save energy.

A secured cab and easy maintenance

Spacious and soundproofed, the Cat 323 F cab is pressurised and equipped with large windows for the operator to have a panoramic view. Besides, the driver's safety is ensured by the protection frame in the event of a rollover, integrated in the cab. Moreover, the surface area are skid-proofed and a rear camera and one on the right have been installed in the cab.

    New technologies to help productivity

Like several of their machines, Cat has integrated their best technologies in the 323 F excavator. Indeed, the Link technologies such as the Product Link are in option. With this feature, the excavator owner can connect with the machine.  Thus, he can access the main data about the machine such as its position, the service hours, its fuel consumption, the inactive time or information regarding incidents. Then, it is possible to create accounts via the user interface VisionLink. Once analysed, all the information can be used to reduce the operation cost of the machine.
