« Interoute et Ville » exhibition started on June, 14th 2016
« Interoute et Ville » takes place in Paris from June, 14th to June, 16th from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The purpose of this event is to promote the European roadway heritage. For its 7th edition, the French capital hosts the exhibition for the first time. It is entirely dedicated to roadway and its construction. This installation in Paris should allow the city to extend its international grip. The exhibition revolves around three topics: 'design and building', 'equipping', and 'preserving/operating'.
The place to be at the crossroad of Europe
The exhibition is the right time to gather at the same place many operators contributing to the sound development of the road infrastructures. Indeed, it is the opportunity for the prime contractors and project owners to meet equipment suppliers. Moreover, for three years, « Interoute et Ville » has been sponsored by the IDRRIM Congress (the French Institute for Roads, Streets and Infrastructure for Mobility). The Congress discussions were focused on the infrastructures essential for the energy transition. For example, the matter of roads able to produce, stock and distribute energy was at the heart of many discussions.
Exhibition tips
For three days, 200 exhibitors were present within the 13,000m2 mobilized for the exhibition. It is the right time for the 6,000 French and foreign visitors to network with different industrials and specific organizations dedicated to road infrastructures.
Exhibitors came from many different European countries in order to expose their innovations. Usually, there are many visitors from local authorities, cities and city-counties. The exhibition welcomes directors, highway company managers or roadway construction companies. Among their partners, the exhibition counts many European organizations.
Companies such as Eiffage Infrastructure, Colas or Eurova were represented. Other societies specialized in public works like Fayat, Volvo, Ce, Lafarge also presented their innovations.
