Bomag introduces a new road paver
Bomag announced in January 2016 that they will be unveiling their new BF 300-2 road paver during the Bauma in April in Germany. The new machine is adapted to road construction. Bomag offers tow versions of the new road paver : the BF 300 P (with wheels) and the BF 300 C (on tracks). The construction equipment manufacturer Bomag explains that the latest model is ideal for agricultural roads but also for urban road renovations. The Bomag BF 300-2 is also great for upgrading works on emergency escape on motorways.
A new engine for a new Bomag road paver
The Bomag BF 300-2 paver is now equipped with an engine meeting the Tier 4 norm requirements. This new machine limit the emission of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. The make also offers a Tier 3 version of the machine.
The little extras of the BF 300-2 asphalt paver
The BF 300-2 from Bomag can be equipped with an hydraulic shutter to empty the hopper quickly. The machine has good lighting with LED lights and lighting balloons to work in the dark.
High efficiency on the terrain
The Bomag BF 300-2 paver can have a productivity of up to 300 tonnes per hour. The track version of the machine have a maximum working width of 5 m and of 4.4m on wheels.
For a clean work, the machine is equipped with a smoke vaccum. This system sucks up the asphalt vapours to evacuate them from the machine's roof.
The BF 300-2 model, can heat up really quickly thanks to resistors in an aluminum block. This system only heats up in 20 minutes because the metal conducts heat more quickly. The aluminum blocks protect the heating elements of the machine. Finally, the heating bars of the BF 300-2 heat up 60% faster than other paver tables in the same category.
