The Grade Slope Assist soon available on the D6T Cat bulldozer
The Slope Assist technology will be available mid 2016 on the bulldozer D6T from Caterpillar. This system increases the Cat dozer's productivity while being easier to drive.
What does the Slope Assist technology bring to the Cat bulldozer ?
The Slope Assist technology is part of the many Cat Connect features. This technology is a feature developped by the American brand, to help the driver control the bulldozer's blade. The Slope Assist system makes it easy for non experienced operators and reinforces the productivity of confirmed drivers.
The system assists the operator in his slope driving management and help maintain the blade's angle. With this technology, Caterpillar noticed that the D6T bulldozer finished 39% faster and that the levelling quality has been increased.
Display screen linked to the Slope Assist technology
The operator can visualise his actions on a LCD display screen inside the cab. This screen has a simple and intuitive interface that displays the slope data in real time. The screen helps control the inherent information of the bulldozer's proper functioning.
The other Cat Grade technologies in the D6T bulldozer
The D6T is also equipped with other technologies to improve its capacities. The Cat Stable Blade system, for instance, has been designed by the make in order to control the blade moves while adjusting its height.
The model can also be equipped with options from the Cat Grade control 3D and Cat AccuGrade technologies that improve the levellingefficiency.
