A new boom for the 580ST backhoe loader
CASE Construction Equipment expands their backhoe loader offers with two different boom geometry types. Indeed, the manufacturer gives his clients the possibility to choose between a boom with a new cylinder geometry or the « DNA CASE » boom with parallel cylinders on an internal extendahoe.
The advantages of the " DNA CASE" boom's traditional conception
The manufacturer gives his clients the possibility to equip their 580ST backhoe loader with a "DNA CASE" boom with Extendahoe. This solution is ideal for the most difficult construction site conditions. Indeed, the sliding part of the boom never touch the ground and the components have been studied to be protected against impacts on construction sites. This system optimises excavations and simplifies the dumper's filing. The boom is also equipped with an hydraulic couple that allows the operator to quickly change the accessories. With the parallel cylinders, the boom is shorter and the transport height is lower.
The brand new in-line geometry of the Case backhoe loaders
This new in-line geometry maintains the S shape boom and ensures that the effort is evenly distributed. This system makes the machine even more robust. Moreover, the boom is smaller, which gives the operator a better visibility during rear operations. This new boom has a 5,520 daN breakout force at the bucket and 4 100 daN at the dipperstick. When equipped with this boom, the maximum reach of the backhoe loader is 6 647 mm from its swing centre.
