Hyundai introduces their new HX220 L track hydraulic excavator
The brand new heavy excavator by Hyundai weighs 22 tonnes and offers high-end features. The HX220 L machine is part of the new HX series of Hyundai excavators.
The hydraulic HX220 L excavator is ecological
The HX range displays a reduction of NOx emissions of 90% in comparison with the previous 9A excavators series, and saves up to 12% fuel. Even with these improvements, the excavator doesn't lose energy since it has a diesel turbo 4-stroke air-cooled engine with 182,6 HP, all while meeting the latest Stage IV norms. The HX220 L hydraulic excavator is equipped with the "ECO" indicator. It helps the operator control his fuel consumption by displaying the rate and total quantity of used fuel. Moreover, this track excavator has a IPC (Intelligent Pump Control), that manage the machine's power depending on the working environment.
New devices for a better productivity
With the technical improvements, the HX series has a better productivity while being faster on construction sites. The HX220 L can load trucks up 5 times faster and levelling faster than the 9A series.
The dashboard has been totally redesigned with a new 8'' screen in the cab. The on-board computer is customisable and the screen is easy to read. The cab is also equipped with a Bluetooth connection to phone easily. The excavator now has an advanced surveillance system visible on the screen giving the operator a 360° view around the machine.
The Hi-Mate system improves the excavator
The Hyundai excavator from the HX series is equipped with the Hi-Mate (long distance management system). This feature evaluates the machine's performances and checks the excavator's location. With the Hi-Mate system, it is possible to schedule a virtual surveillance of the excavator in a determined area.
