The « Red dot design award » for the Liebherr R 926 excavator
With its high quality design, Liebherr's new compact excavator was just awarded the 2015 Red Dot Award.
Internationaly renowned, the « Red Dot Award : Product Design 2015 » rewards a product's design every year. More than 2000 partakers from 56 countries took part in the 60th edition. The international jury consisted of graphic designers, design teachers and specialised journalists.
Liebherr R 926 Compact excavator characteristics
The R 926 track excavator was launched last year. More comfortable and efficient, it replaces the R 924 Compact.
The R 926 has an operating weight of 25 tonnes. It is equipped with a diesel engine of 120 kW / 163 hp, which meets the Stage IIIB norm requirements. Optionally, it can be equipped with a particle filter.
Comfortable, productive and profitable, it is as efficient and versatile as a classic excavator. The advantage of this compact excavator is that it works in narrow environment, for instance in urban environments : levelling, pipes or demolition.
This new Liebherr track excavator will be displayed at Intermat, which takes place in Paris from April 20-25, 2015.
