World of Concrete goes to Intermat

Organised every year since 1975 in January in Las Vegas, USA, the World of Concrete (WOC) has become an important event for the concrete and masonry construction business in North America. In October 2013, SE Intermat, and Hanley Wood LLC, which organises the annual WOC, signed a strategic partnership to develop a new event in Europe. That's why the World of Concrete Europe will take place for the first time, alongside Intermat in Paris, from April 20 to 25 2015.

150 exhibitors specialised in concrete

This new event will have all the profesionnals of the concrete world from Europe, French speaking Africa and Middle East. With more than 150 exhibitors in Hall 7, the WOC Europe offers equipments dedicated to concrete's production, transport, application and handling. The sponsor of this first edition is the world renowned architect Rudy Ricciotti.

Apart from cement manufacturer, the WOC Europe exhibit cement and masonry equipments for the construction industry : mixing plants, decorative and special concretes, coating and primers, armature pre-fabrication equipments, sawing materials,  surface preparations, innovative tools, dedicated softwares, masonry materials, engineering and services, etc.

Conferences, workshops and demonstrations

As for every WOC, some training sessions and demonstrations will be available for visitors. From April 21 to 24, twenty conferences and workshops based on innovative technics will take place in the Be Concrete forum. These workshops and conferences are free and open access and will be simultaneously translated from english.

Outside on the esplanade, there will be some tool and masonry materials demonstrations, which will display the lastest innovations, with companies such as Holcim Bétons France, Blastrac, HTC Professional Floor Systems, Moderne Méthode and Mapei. For the Intermat Innovation Awards, a special award, the « World of Concrete Europe » will reward one of these innovations.
