During this test, this roller was compared with two other models from other manufacturers. The inspection was positive for the Atlas roller, since it has lower noise and better performances.

Atlas Copco roller, a duplex roller with lots of advantages
This construction equipment was studied to be as ergonomic as possible. Atlas’ efforts were rewarded since the TÜV acknowledged the assets of this machine. For instance, the test confirmed that the LP6500 model has a lower noise level and reduces vibrations. In terms of numbers, the hand-arm vibration level equals 4.14 m/s2, a 40% reduction in comparison to other models on test bench. Regarding the noise level, the Atlas machine shows a sound pressure level of 89dB, meaning a lower noise level for the operator.
Copco, an ideal machine for all surfaces
This machine has sizeable advantages for the compaction of thin surfaces such as gravel or sand. However, this roller is also optimal for smaller tasks in particular asphalt compaction. The preferred locations of this machine are : construction zones, narrow roads or parking lots as well as playgrounds.
