Terex TR60 rigid dumper meets the Tier IIIB norm requirements

55 tonnes of useful load, a 35m3 capacity and meeting the Tier IIIB environmental norm requirements, the new Terex TR60 dump truck was one of the main products from Terex at the 2013 Bauma. The low laden weight of the Terex dump truck plays an important part in the performances of the machine in terms of resistance, operating costs and energy use.

Three slow-down systems for the dump truck

In order to reduce the speed of the Terex TR60 dumper, the operator can choose between these three independent systems: exhaust brake, transmission brake and a rear wheel brake. The construction machine is still the only one on the market with this feature.

A Terex rigid dump truck with a Scania engine

The Terex TR60 dumper has a 515kW Scania DC16 engine meeting the requirements of the Tier 3B norm thanks to its selective catalytic reduction system (SCR).
