Volvo CE introduces their latest wheeled asphalt paver : the ABG P870C
The new Volvo ABG P870C wheeled asphalt paver can easily adapt to work in a city’s streets as well as on highways. Its Volvo D6 motorization enables it to be fuel efficient and to reduce gas emissions (Tier IIIB norm). The noise level of the road construction machine is also limited.

Important work capacities for this Volvo CE wheeled asphalt paver
In the basic version, the new Volvo ABG P870C asphalt paver can cover 2.5m (9m if it has extra extensions) and can work on 300mm of coating. This Volvo wheeled asphalt paver works three different ways in order to maximize the road construction machine’s capacities depending on the use.
Adjustable seat and smoke extraction system for the operator’s comfort
The Volvo ABG P870C asphalt pavers are equipped with a system that can extract 83% of the smoke coming from the bitumen. This technology doesn’t produce any noise and doesn’t use more fuel. The smokes are sucked up and send to the top of the asphalt paver through a fan. The adjustable seat allows the operator to slightly be on the outside of the asphalt paver in order to increase his field of vision.
