A new series 5 for the 4 tonnes Bomag tandem rollers
During the 2012 Intermat exhibition, Bomag introduced their new range of rollers weighing between 3.9 and 4.3 tonnes : the BW 135 AD-5, the BW 138 AD-5 and the new combined BW 138 AC-5 roller. The models have an important compaction force and are easy to manoeuvre thanks to the Bomag Economizer system.

Bomag Economizer, a simplified drive of the Bomag roller
Thanks to the Bomag Economizer system, it has never been so easy to drive a tandem roller. The operator can see the evolution of the compaction through the yellow and red diodes system that go on and off during the compaction and indicates the hard points in the ground and the areas where the compaction is too pressed. The operator of a Bomag roller will also appreciate the perfect point of view of the two rollers as well as the driver’s seat ergonomy.
The series 5 Bomag rollers, efficient and powerful
The new range of tandem rollers from Bomag perfectly meets the needs of today’s market. The 310 liter water tank can be mentioned, it allows the operator more time between refills and therefore more productivity. The rollers of the Bomag 4 tonnes compactor have a 900mm diameter, which helps compact a larger surface at each passage.
