Scraper - ScaperThe scraper or scraper is a machine used in earthmoving operations to load and transport loose or fine-grained materials over short distances.
A scraper can either be pushed by a bulldozer or self-propelled. There are also twin-engine scrapers, some of which can work in duo: these are "pull-push" scrapers. Scrapers are powerful machines that can move quickly. They are equipped with a bucket to recover materials during stripping. The scraper sometimes works in conjunction with a grader.
The first motor and tire scraper was invented around 1930 by Robert Gilmore LeTourneau and then developed by the Wabco company. The Euclid and Caterpillar firms developed their own models in the years that followed.
