Concrete finisher The concrete finisher, or vibro-finisher, is a construction machine used for the implementation of concrete over a large area. With a working width of between 1 and 5 meters, the concrete paver can process 200 to 250 linear meters per day.
The vibratory finisher travels on rails the spacing of which can be adjusted. The rails also have the function of holding the concrete in the manner of a shuttering. A mixer carrier dumps its load in front of the paver which will adjust, vibrate and smooth the concrete using three specific beams.
Slipform pavers are similar to rail-mounted concrete pavers but are equipped with several chain trains. They are used to smooth large concrete surfaces, but also to create road edges or reinforced concrete slides.
