Industry Specification
The CX50B will be supplied in the Environment Agency’s specification, with a full range of biodegradable oils, making it safe for use on sensitive river bank locations and other agricultural land. The excavator has been equipped with auxiliary hydraulic piping, additional counterweight, check valves and a Prolec Heightmaster Plus system to ensure safe operation in all conditions.
Proven Design
Based on the proven CX50B ZTS short radius crawler excavator, the long reach machine has an additional 500mm of reach on both the main boom and the dipper stick. It will be equipped with a Michaels 2m lightweight mowing bucket.
Despite the machine’s compact dimensions the CX50B offers impressive digging and breakout forces. Power is provided by a four cylinder Yanmar diesel engine offering 43hp (32kW), with 139.3Nm of torque. The machine uses a twin pump variable displacement hydraulic system with a maximum operating pressure of 230bar.
Total Operator Comfort
The ZTS cab on the CX50B provides a wide entrance with enhanced visibility to all directions. Ergonomic pilot-operated controls combine with well located drive pedals, to ensure maximum comfort and reduced operator stress.
Backhoe Versatility
Also on display will be the latest version of the popular Case 590 Super R backhoe loader, equipped with pilot-operated backhoe controls. The Series 3 machine provides fully adjustable lever towers, that ensure a comfortable working environment whatever the size of operator. Control patterns can be switched between backhoe and excavator to suit the needs of all drivers.
Maximum Utilisation
The Case 590 Super R will be equipped with an Osmar flail mower, ideal for use in a number of river bank and land clearing applications. With its robust boom design, combining rigidity and light weight, the Case 590 Super R is an ideal machine for contractors looking for maximum working versatility.
