Hyster launches new forklifts

Hyster Company has launched a new forklift series in the 55,000lbs-70,000lbs (24,948kg-31,752kg) lifting capacity range.
The H550-700HD models are suited for a variety of applications including steel manufacturing, general cargo loading at sea ports or container handling.
The forklifts have, among other new features, a redesigned hydraulic system that lowers the truck’s operating cost. The load-sensing hydraulic system allows hydraulic fluid to be pumped only when the system is required to do work. For low load conditions, drivers don’t need to rev the engine to receive fast hydraulic speeds. Hyster says the system leads to lower hydraulic oil temperature, extended life of hydraulic oil, filter, hoses, seals and components, and simplified plumbing.
